Francis “Blue” Abaya serves as Secretary General of CALD, supporting the organization’s day-to-day operations and coordinating its programs, activities, partnerships, and regional engagements.
As the principal coordinating office of CALD, the Secretary General helps connect member parties and partners while facilitating conferences, workshops, political exchanges, missions, and initiatives focused on democratic cooperation across Asia.
Abaya works alongside the CALD Chairperson and the organization’s members to strengthen the network and advance CALD’s role as a platform for dialogue and cooperation among liberal and democratic political parties.
