Michelle Wu serves as Chairperson of CALD Youth, the youth wing of the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats.
CALD Youth brings together young members from CALD member parties to promote liberal and democratic values, strengthening regional solidarity, and increasing youth participation in mainstream politics and policymaking.
Since its formation in 2010, CALD Youth has organized international workshops and training programs covering leadership, strategic planning, political communications, climate change, democracy, and other issues affecting young people across Asia.
As Youth Chairperson, Wu has identified strengthening youth participation, expanding knowledge and skills exchange, and increasing youth engagement at the global level among the organization’s priorities.
