Hon. Demberel Sambuu is an incumbent Member of the Parliament of Mongolia and Co-Chairman of Civil Will Green Party. He has been Chairman and CEO of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 1997. It was in 2005 that he took on the position as the Economic Adviser to the President of Mongolia. Other positions Hon. Sambuu held are Vice President of the Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the National Business Council for Sustainable Development. Additionally, he is also the Chairman of Arbitration Court of Mongolia. Since 2007, he has been the Deputy Chairman of the National Trade and Transport Facilitation Committee and of the National Export Development Council.
Hon. Sambuu finished Economics in the Mongolian National University and later went on to study in Australia, the United States of America and Japan to complete advanced training courses in Economics. He is also the author, co-author and editor of more than 100 economic research and training publication.
Hon. Sambuu served as CALD Secretary General from 2014-2016.
