Hon. Alongkorn Ponlaboot served as a Member of Parliament and Democrat Party of Thailand’s Shadow Cabinet Deputy Prime Minister. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Thammasat University and his Master’s degree in Public Administration at Chulalongkorn University.
Hon. Ponlaboot has earned distinctions as Knight Grand Cross (1st Class) of the Most Exalted Order of the White Elephant, and the Knight Grand Cross (1st Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand.
Hon. Ponlaboot served as CALD Secretary General from 2002-2004.
