Michelle Wu

Michelle currently serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Youth Development of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) in Taiwan, where she oversees youth political engagement, coordinates nationwide youth networks, and advances youth-related policy initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from National Taiwan University (NTU) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at NTU’s Graduate Institute of Building and Planning.

Previously, she served as a Legislative Associate to Legislator Hung Sun-Han in the Legislative Yuan, focusing on youth development, environmental sustainability, and transportation safety. Before her parliamentary work, Michelle was President of the National Taiwan University Student Association and founded the Taiwan Youth Association for Democracy (TYAD), where she supported Taiwan’s marriage equality movement and organized solidarity actions for the Hong Kong movement in 2019.
